Teak 3 seater Sofa by Der Ster Gelderland, Netherlands (1950s)

A mid-century teak sofa designed and produced by Der Ster Gelderland in the Netherlands, 1950s.

The frame has been fully restored, its sculptural armrests and precise joinery highlighting the clean, functional elegance associated with Dutch modernist design. The seat has been rewebbed as a single elasticated base, with new Exper springs fitted to the back for comfort and support. All cushions are new and upholstered in Mainline Flax wool by Camira Fabrics, a sustainable blend of pure wool and harvested flax.
