Swedish Turned Wood Table Lamp (1960s
Swedish Turned Wood Table Lamp (1960s
A beautifully sculptural Swedish table lamp dating from the 1960s, made from solid turned teak wood with a rich, warm tone and a strong architectural silhouette. The base has a stacked form, with soft curves and stepped detailing that feels distinctly Scandinavian and of its era.
The scale is perfect for a sideboard, bedside table or shelving, adding warmth and texture without feeling heavy. When lit, the lamp gives a soft, ambient glow and brings out the depth of the timber grain.
This lamp has been carefully updated for modern use while keeping the original mid-century character. It has a natural linen shade, and has been fully PAT tested, fitted with a UK plug, and finished with a new brass coloured cord. It also has all new brass fixings, which elevate the overall look and give the lamp a more refined, luxury feel.
A simple but striking piece of 1960s Swedish design.
