1960s Rosewood Sideboard Chest of Drawers by Robert Heritage for Heals

A beautifully made chest of drawers designed by Robert Heritage and retailed through Heals in the 1960s, crafted in richly grained rosewood with a lacquered finish that enhances the depth and character of the wood. The front presents as six drawers, but the bottom pairs on each side are deep, full-height drawers, ideal for storing bulkier items while maintaining the symmetry of the design.

The drawers glide smoothly, and the solid brass handles are in excellent condition, adding a subtle note of luxury. A versatile and elegant piece, it works equally well as a sideboard, media unit or bedroom storage.
