A beautifully proportioned Plexus lounge chair designed by Danish designer Illum Wikkelsø and produced by CFC Silkeborg.

Wikkelsø was one of the leading figures of Danish modern furniture design, known for combining strong sculptural forms with comfort and practicality. The Plexus series is particularly distinctive, with its open timber frame, gently curved arms and separate upholstered sections giving the chair a light, architectural feel.

The exposed frame is an important part of the design and gives the chair a lovely sense of structure from every angle. It is a very usable size for a living room, bedroom or reading corner while still having the presence of a proper lounge chair.

Our chair requires complete reupholstery. The timber frame is solid and will be cleaned and restored as required before the upholstery work is carried out. This gives the buyer the opportunity to choose a fabric that works with their interior and with the character of the chair.
