A striking pair of Norwegian rosewood sofas designed by Sigurd Ressell for Vatne Møbler in the 1960s.

The frames are beautifully architectural, with broad rosewood rails, open rectangular arm details and exposed metal fixings. They have a particularly strong profile from the side and back, so they work well positioned away from a wall as well as against one.

Both sofas are currently awaiting restoration. The rosewood frames will be thoroughly cleaned and oiled to bring back the richness and depth of the timber. All of the cushions will be completely reupholstered in our workshop and fitted with new fire-retardant interiors.

The price includes your choice of fabric from our mid-range collections. Premium fabrics, including bouclé, and leather are available at an additional cost.

If you are interested in the sofas before restoration is complete, please get in touch. Choosing them at this stage gives you the opportunity to select the upholstery yourself.

Each sofa measures approximately 203cm wide, 90cm deep and 75cm high, with a seat height of 41cm.
