This elegant pair of rosewood bedside tables was designed by Archie Shine and retailed by Heals in the 1960s. Known for his dedication to quality and proportion, Shine produced modern British furniture that blended functionality with understated elegance. His pieces are now regarded as icons of post-war design.

Each table features two drawers with original brass recessed handles, showcasing the rich, linear rosewood grain across the front. The drawers glide smoothly, and the tables are solid and well made, a testament to their craftsmanship. Condition is excellent overall, with only minimal surface marks consistent with age, all clearly shown in the photographs.
