A delicate Baby Bird designed by Oiva Toikka for the renowned Nuutajärvi glassworks. This small, hand-blown piece features swirling white filigree through translucent glass and a clear head, minimal and sculptural, yet full of personality.

Originally introduced as part of the “Birds by Toikka” collection, these smaller birds are often the most expressive in form and are now increasingly sought after by collectors.

Toikka’s long collaboration with Nuutajärvi (and later Iittala) spanned over 40 years. His birds are among the most beloved icons of Finnish design — known for their individuality, craftsmanship, and characterful presence.

Retains original Iittala label.
Excellent condition.
