A beautifully preserved pairing of Montblanc’s mid-century writing instruments: the Montblanc 24 fountain pen and the Montblanc 27 ballpoint pen, both dating from the 1960s and offered here as a complete set with their original zip-up case and Montblanc certification leaflet.

Both pens have been professionally reconditioned.

- The ballpoint pen has been fitted with new ink and features Montblanc’s clever 1960s safety mechanism: a subtle sliding hook on the clip that retracts the nib the moment it is slipped into a shirt pocket - a small but ingenious detail from the era of white cotton office wear.

The fountain pen includes its accompanying ink system, which works with a screw-type mechanism, drawing ink smoothly and cleanly.

The design language of the 24/27 series is unmistakably midcentury Montblanc: slim, refined silhouettes in black resin with gold-plated accents, built for everyday writing but with a precision and weight that marks them as collectible.
