M. Nissen Spade Rocking Chair for Pastoe, 1960s

A really beautiful midcentury rocking chair designed by M. Nissen and sold by Dutch manufacturer Pastoe in the 1960s.

The chair has a wonderfully sculptural wooden frame, with long curved arms that flow into the rocker base. It is one of those pieces that looks good from every angle and feels much more elegant than a traditional rocking chair.

This piece is currently awaiting restoration. We will make completely new seat and back cushion interiors using fire-retardant materials, before upholstering them in our workshop.

The price includes your choice of fabric from our mid-range collections. Premium fabrics, including bouclé, and leather are available at an additional cost.

If you are interested in the chair before restoration is complete, please get in touch. Choosing it at this stage gives you the opportunity to select the upholstery yourself.
