G-Plan Teak Nesting Tables
A classic set of mid century nesting tables by British furniture maker G-Plan, crafted in warm teak with the clean lines and practical design that defined the company’s furniture throughout the post-war period.
Founded in 1953 by E. Gomme, G-Plan was one of the most influential names in British mid-century furniture. The company helped introduce a more modern, Scandinavian-influenced approach to British homes, combining good quality materials with simple, functional forms designed for everyday living.
This set is a particularly useful example of that philosophy. The tables sit neatly together when not in use, taking up very little floor space, then separate to provide additional surfaces when needed. The teak has a lovely warm tone and the understated shape makes them easy to place alongside both contemporary and vintage furniture.
A practical and enduring piece of British mid-century design.
