Henry Rosengren Hansen Extending Dining Table for Brande Møbelindustri, 1960s
A beautifully crafted Brazilian rosewood dining table designed by Henry Rosengren Hansen for Danish manufacturer Brande Møbelindustri. The original maker’s mark remains on the underside.
The craftsmanship is exceptional, the tongue and. groove extension mechanism has been precisely engineered, and even the legs are stamped with individual numbers to ensure they can be reassembled in the correct position after transport.
In its closed form, the table is circular and seats four. With the addition of two leaves (each 50 cm wide), it extends to seat twelve.
Measurements:
Height: 73 cm
Width: 170–220 cm
Depth: 119 cm
The table is in excellent condition. The lacquered top remains original, with no peeling and only a few light scratches consistent with normal use.
This piece is available for sale now. We haven’t photographed it in situ due to space limitations, but if you’re interested, please contact us and we can arrange to have it delivered to the shop for viewing.
