A3 Size Poster 420mm x 297mm (42cm x 30 cm) - before framing

This a promotional  poster for the now-legendary 1985 exhibition featuring Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, held at the Palladium nightclub in New York City and presented by the Tony Shafrazi Gallery.

This striking poster captures the collaborative energy between two of the most influential artists of the 20th century. Photographed in boxing gloves and trunks, Warhol and Basquiat are posed as sparring partners, a visual metaphor for their dynamic, often tension-filled partnership. The image, styled like a boxing match promotion, became an icon of 1980s New York art culture.
