Engström & Myrstrand ‘Bagen’ Lounge Chair for Nässjö Stolfabrik, Sweden, 1950s

A beautiful Swedish lounge chair designed by Engström & Myrstrand for Nässjö Stolfabrik in the 1950s. The sculptural stick-back frame gives it a light, almost fan-like appearance, while the low proportions make it a really elegant occasional chair.

The ebonised frame is in very good condition and has a lovely patina. It is currently awaiting restoration and needs new seat and back cushions before it is ready for sale.
