30 oz Stainless Steel Jug with lip by Arne Jacobsen for Stelton (1960s)
Arne Jacobsen for Stelton - 30oz Stainless Steel Jug (Model 03/1)
A beautifully preserved stainless-steel jug designed by Arne Jacobsen for Stelton, part of the iconic Cylinda-Line series. This is the 30oz version with a refined pouring lip (model 03/1), presented in excellent condition with the original late-1960s Stelton sticker still intact on the base.
Designed in 1967 and released in 1968, the Cylinda-Line set a new aesthetic for Scandinavian tableware: pure cylinders, brushed stainless steel and a complete absence of ornament. This jug is a perfect example - architectural, functional, and beautifully balanced in the hand.

About Arne Jacobsen (1902–1971)
Arne Jacobsen was one of the leading voices of Danish modernism. Trained as an architect, he designed everything from buildings to cutlery, approaching each discipline with the same clarity of form and precision. His furniture - including the Swan, Egg and Series 7 chairs — became global design icons.
The Cylinda-Line was his major contribution to domestic objects: a modular stainless-steel series built entirely from industrial cylinders. It was awarded the Danish ID Prize and remains one of the most recognisable expressions of Scandinavian minimalism.

About Stelton
Founded in 1960, Stelton became internationally known for its stainless-steel innovations. The company’s collaborations with Jacobsen, and later Erik Magnussen, established a distinct, modernist design language: functional, architectural, and built to last. Early Cylinda-Line pieces with original stickers, like this one, are increasingly rare and sought after.
