The ML115 coffee table is made from solid teak, featuring alternating wooden planks. The top is positioned to give the impression that it is floating in the air.
In great condition, with some very minor knocks - clearly photographed.
The table has been sanded and danish oiled to enhance the rich colour of the wood..
Illum Wikkelsø (1919–1999) was a key figure in Danish modernism, he trained as a cabinetmaker before studying at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts. Known for his focus on organic form and comfort, his furniture balances clean lines with sculptural elegance.
Wikkelsø worked with leading manufacturers such as Eilersen and Søren Willadsen, producing designs that remain timeless in both form and function.
