One of the most influential British artists of the twentieth century, Eduardo Paolozzi was a sculptor, printmaker and collagist whose work helped define the visual language of post-war modernism and Pop Art. Born in Leith, Edinburgh, to Italian parents, Paolozzi studied at Edinburgh College of Art and later at the Slade School of Fine Art in London. Throughout his career he combined imagery drawn from science, engineering, advertising, popular culture and technology, creating works that reflected the rapidly changing world of the post-war era.

Produced in 1971 to accompany Paolozzi's exhibition at the Tate Gallery, this original offset lithograph captures the bold graphic qualities for which the artist became renowned. Characterised by layered imagery, strong typography and a fascination with the relationship between art, industry and mass communication, Paolozzi's work remains remarkably contemporary more than fifty years later.

Paolozzi was a founding member of the Independent Group, the influential circle of artists, architects and critics whose ideas laid the foundations for British Pop Art. His work is represented in major collections worldwide, including the Tate, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and numerous public collections throughout Europe and North America.

As both an exhibition poster and a work of graphic design in its own right, this piece offers an opportunity to acquire an original example connected to one of Britain's most important post-war artists. Equally suited to a contemporary interior, creative workspace or modern art collection, it reflects Paolozzi's enduring influence on art, design and visual culture.

Condition: The poster is presented in a wooden frame and remains in very good condition overall, with very little fading. There are three small brown marks to the poster, all of which are clearly shown in the photographs. The frame is in very good condition.
