For years we’ve talked about making a city guide to St Albans. Made by Creatives for Creatives.

When Marcus & I moved here from London 20 years ago we thought it would just be a calmer, more practical place to raise a family. What we didn’t realise was how many thoughtful, creative people were quietly building lives and practices here.

Over the years, through schools, nights out and lots of long conversations, we found ourselves surrounded by designers, artists, makers, writers, architects and musicians. That community is what made this lovely city feel like home.

We started asking that community to share their favourite places, from architecture, to places to walk, eat & drink, dance & shop.  

The result is this pocket sized book. It’s a guide to the places that shape our city and all the independent businesses we love.
