Celtic Pottery was started in Mousehall, Cornwall by Bill and Maggie Fisher in the mid 1960s.  They developed the Celtic folk design which was popular in the midcentury.  Maggie moved the pottery to Newlyn in th 1970s where she produced the 'medallion' range which this decanter is from.
