    A teak, tambour doored music cabinet, manufactured in Denmark by Vantinge Mobelindustri in the 1970s.

    To the left of the he cabinet are 4 compartments for vinyl.  The central column comprising of 3 draws with cut away handles, has a top compartment with sections for cassette tapes.  The other 2 drawers are leather lined. There is single shelf to the right of the drawers.  

    The tambour doors run smoothly.

    Vantinge Möbelfabrik, commonly known as Vantinge Mobelindustri, is a Danish furniture manufacturer that was established in 1943 by Johannes Vantinge in  Denmark. The company began as a small workshop producing wooden furniture, mainly for the local market.  In the 1960s it became known for its high-quality, Scandinavian-designed furniture establishing partnerships with designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Hans Wegner, and Finn Juhl.

    A pair of 1970's teak bedside cabinets, each with a single door, moulded handle and tapering legs.  We have stripped these cabinets of their original varnish, sanded and oiled to reveal the lovely patina of the wood.  

    The cabinets are very sturdy, there is a small knock to the corner of one of them, photographed clearly.

    A pair of 1940s three-drawer bedside tables with Art Deco handles, on ebonised legs. These were highly varnished when we received them and we have carefully removed the original varnish, the wood has been cleaned and oiled to reveal a beautiful patina.  

    These are early post war examples of bedside tables, sturdily built out of solid teak with beautiful dove tail joints.  There were some small knocks to the exterior which have been filled.
