Designed in 1944 for Herman Miller, this Noguchi table is a 2001 reissue for Vitra Design Museum with makers mark on the solid walnut base.

The glass is unmarked, there are some small scuffs to the wood.

Isamu Noguchi (1904–1988) was a visionary Japanese-American artist and designer whose work spanned sculpture, furniture, landscape architecture, and lighting design. Known for blending Eastern and Western influences, his creations range from the iconic Noguchi Coffee Table to the ethereal Akari Light Sculptures, inspired by traditional Japanese lanterns. Noguchi’s designs are celebrated for their organic forms, minimalism, and ability to harmonize art with functionality. His public art and landscapes, such as the Noguchi Garden in California, reflect his innovative approach to space and material. 2021 saw a popular retrospective at The Barbican art gallery which including the conservatory being filled with his paper light sculptures.
